Write a paragraph (4-7 sentences) explaining how the volume of the gas changed as books were added one by one. Base your explanation on what was happening to the gas particles in the syringe.

the volume changed as the pressure changed. the volume decreased. the volume increased because as pressure increases volume decreases. the presuure increased because we added books.

The volume had changed when the pressure changed. The thing would go down when you took the books off. Then when you put the books on the pressure went up. Thats how the volume and stuff changed.

When you add books the pressure went up. The volume decreased when you did this. The particles were being pushed together. When you removed books the pressure decreased, so the volume increased. The air didn't have as much pressure so the particles were able to expand.

When pressure is increased volume decreases. SO as the books were added, the volume decreased. As the books were taken off the pressure dercreased there for the volume increased. this is what i saw happen in this experiment.

Today in the lab i learned that the volume of the gas inside the syringe decreased as the pressure increased. this is true also if the pressure deacreses then the volume increases. this is stated as Boyles Law. that is what i learned in the lab today.

Maddie and I used the larger books so we made it all the way to zero and twenty. once it got to zero there was a hole punched in the clay showing it could have gone farther. i liked this experiment.

Today in the lab, I learned that as you increase the pressure on an object, the volume will do down. This is because there is less space in the syringe because the top is being pushed down. Therefore, there is less space. This is what I learned in the lab today.

I dont know if their were gas particles but it when you put pressure on it, it goes down. If take pressure off it goes higher.

During this experiment, as we applied pressure with the books the volume of the seringe went down. This is due to what Boyle said in his law. After experimenting, he concluded that as you raise and apply pressure the volume will drop. This experiment has helped me to better understand Boyle's Law. I guess we do learn in science haha jk Mrs.Powers you da BOMB DIGGITY

Well everytime Chives added books the volume of the gase went down to a certain extent. So the pressure of the books was pushing down on the tuby thing. Then when Chives took the books off, it went back up again. So I thinkthis has somthing to do with Boyle's law or something, I guess

The volume is a function of pressure. Volume and pressure are inversely related.
